I recently wrote a blog on the 2011 Enterprise 2.0 Conference, produced by UBM TechWeb, taking place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, June 20-23, 2011.

Having decided to attend the 11:30 a.m. session by Kevin Jones on Tuesday, I looked ahead at the 1:15 pm session – - Online communities – A strategic imperative by Rachel Happe, the Principal and Co-Founder of The Community Roundtable. Having a background in building online communities for associations, I speak a lot on the strategic importance of “gated communities” for organizations, but specifically non-profits. I expect Rachel will dive into this topic from more of a corporate/enterprise perspective.

I recently read Content Management Connection’s blog about this distinguished speaker, Rachel Happe (their guest speaker in 2010.) Elsua reminisces,, “That session was one of the most commented and interactive we had throughout the whole year … Rachel did a great job in describing how new findings translate into a really nice bunch of good / next practices for each and everyone of the various elements from the Maturity Model, which would mean it would give folks a great opportunity to learn some new tricks on the art of community building, as well as find out some pretty interesting nuggets on how leadership stands with regards to Social Business and Community Facilitation.

Steve Wylie, Enterprise 2.0 Conference General Manager wrote, ”The distinguished list of speakers will deliver insightful and thought provoking ideas in a new, quick-hitting, keynote format we’re excited to roll out.”

He isn’t kidding! The speakers and topics align very closely with my passion and @Avectra products.

Thanks to Jacob Morgan (@jacobm) for recommending this session to me!

See you in Boston!
