Where I’ll be in just a few days! The Enterprise 2.0 Conference being held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, June 20-23, 2011.
There’s a lot of buzz simmering about the Wednesday, 1:15 pm session. Who leads social business and what does leadership look like? I was particularly interested in the Harvard Business Review noting this post, “One of the main goals of Enterprise 2.0 is to create a collaborative culture to support a Social Business future where there are no silos”.
Social Business thought leaders are already capitalizing on the benefits of network effects through the implementation of Social Network Platforms. This social business strategy in now being extended to go beyond supporting internal collaboration, to include external partners and customers...This progressive path of innovation in the Enterprise is leading us to the next level of deeper Engagement through Gamification to support real Social Business.
I have to say I’m impressed at the prominent panel, namely: Keri Pearlson (managing partner at KP partners), Jamie Pappas (VP social media at AMP agency), Claire Flanagan (Director KM and enterprise social business collaboration strategy at CSC), and Luis Suarez (KMer, community builder and social computing evangelist at IBM).
These few days are really packed with knowledge and activities, but I’m really eager to attend and learn from this session; and hopefully get the chance to meet and share with some of the panelists. I expect there will be a lot of alignment and shared perspectives.
See you in Boston!
