Avectra Clients Providing Haiti Relief

Current reports say the organization has raised more than $22 million from the text campaign, with money coming in at the rate of $500,000 an hour–which speaks yet again to how mobile technologies are changing the way organizations operate.

We could jump more into that topic, but instead we want to take a moment to highlight some of the ways our own incredible clients are supporting Haitian relief:
- The National Portable Storage Association (NPSA) is collecting donations through its Web site and working with Food For The Poor to raise funds and provide direct relief assistance. They’re also working with several water bottling companies and Publix Supermarkets to gather and send sustained water supplies, baby food, diapers and other provisions.
- The Child Family Health International (CFHI) is teaming up with VIDA (Volunteers for Inter-American Development Assistance) to ship more than $1 million in medical supplies and equipment to Haiti. To help support the effort of transporting first aid items, wound care and surgery kits, and other urgently needed supplies, donate here and indicate Haiti in your donation.
