AUDC 2012 – It’s Getting Closer!
It’s freezin’ February and we’re sure you’re eager to flee from your office for a few days and head to the gorgeous Disney Contemporary Resort in Orlando to recharge your batteries and get reinvested in your association career. They say knowledge is power, so get ready to feel POWERFUL!
The AUDC 2012 conference theme is Creativity, Innovation and Member Success and this year we’re offering an astounding 72 educational sessions to ignite new thinking in each of those areas. If that number of sessions sounds a bit overwhelming, take heart, they are divided into eight knowledge tracks designed to help you plan your schedule, or perhaps divide and conquer:
- Extending the Value of netFORUM Enterprise
- Technical Developer
- Association Best Practices
- Partnering for Success
- netFORUM Enterprise Training
- netFORUM Pro Training
- MemberFuse Training
- Innovation in Customer Success
If you take a look at the online schedule, you’ll see that each knowledge track session begins and ends at the same time so you don’t have to stay in one track but can pick the sessions from across the board that best suit your needs and interest. Also, on our conference website, if you hover your cursor over the session titles, a full description and the name of the speaker(s) handily pops up.
And we’d be remiss if we didn’t say a word or two about our fabulous presenters. We select our presentations based on how they address the needs and interests of our Avectra clients, so our presenters are the experts within those areas of subject matter. Presenters include: association professionals, social media experts, technology experts and of course our in-house Avectra professionals. Each session will end with a Q&A session, so get ready to hear real-life situations and solutions – both your own and those of your fellow attendees.
If you have a more complex question you would like to discuss in detail, I would urge you to schedule a 1:1 session. These are 20-minute consulting/brainstorming conversations that are available to all AUDC attendees, and feature one-on-one training with a number of hand-selected Avectra professionals who will be on site in Orlando. You’ve got questions – we’ve got answers! You can register for these on-site during badge pick up.
Stay tuned – in the next AUDC 2012 countdown post, we’ll be talking networking, event partners awards and how to follow the conference via social media.
We’d love to hear your comments. Have you picked out which sessions you’ll be attending yet? Which ones are you most excited about?
